19 weeks pic!

I am trying to keep up my blog! This picture above is from 19 weeks 1 day (Sunday June 12, 2011) I am loving being pregnant and watching this beautiful transformation of my body, heart and soul. This sweet baby boy has a hold on my heart that I have never experienced before.
He sure knows how to scare me from time to time throughout this pregnancy, but it is all because I love him so much. We are both doing well and feeling good today!
Life is good at the Queeney house, we just miss daddy...can't wait to see him soon!

I did a little shopping with Grammy Webber and again on the day I did my registry for Babies R Us, I will share some of my goodies soon. To see our registry you can go to Target (which isn't done yet) and Babies R Us to look them up.

6 weeks!

Today is the 6 week mark. We had our first real doctor appointment today. It went well, uneventful. We had a question and answer session with the doctor and did a small exam. Our doctor doesn't do ultrasounds until 18 weeks, but we talked him into one with my next visit in four weeks. I will be 10 weeks the day of the visit and we should get a good picture of baby Q and hear the heartbeat!!
To say that I am excited is an understatement! I thank God everyday for this wonderful gift.

I hope that you all can share in this journey with me/us

Family visit to MS and an announcement

We had a wonderful trip this weekend to Biloxi, MS for a birthday visit with Shawn's father for this birthday and our big announcement. We had a great time spending time with family and sharing memories!
Taba (Aunt Taba and Uncle Aaron) got us some great books!
Papa is excited and happy about babyQ!

A lesson from Papa to Shawn (daddy)Happy Birthday Jimbo!! Hope you had as much fun as we did. Hope to see everyone again soon

Dependent Cruise on the Obion

Thanks to the Master Chief of the USCGC Obion, the families of the crew were invited to cruise on the Ohio River last month. Shawn's family came to join us on the cruise and we all had a blast watching Shawn in his work-mode. This was a peak at what the crew does on an underway trip. The chef was also nice enough to make a great meal of hamburgers, hot dogs and chips for all of us to enjoy. We were all very lucky to be able to share in this day!

Getting ready to set a bouy
Shawn and his mother...this made her day!

CG and CG wife!!
Dad and son! Great moment that I am sure will be remembered forever

Thank you to all of you that gave your love and support while I was in PA school, I couldn't have done it without you. I am so blessed to have all of you in my life. It's finally done and I can go back to being the wife, sister, daughter, friend, etc. that I was before school. I know that I have missed and forgotten birthdays, sent cards WAY too late but now I can focus on all of that again.
I have graduated from PA school and passed my PANCE test (the national boards which allows you to be certified as a Physician Assistant)!! School is done!
Shawn and I are living in Kentucky and getting accustom to living in the same home again. I am so happy to be with him again. We are waiting for military orders to find out our next adventure and will let everyone know as soon as we find out. When we move to our next location I will be looking for a job as a PA. As for now, I am just enjoying being home and trying to find a little part-time job.
Love and prayers!!
