Packing Packing!

Over the last few weeks I have been slowly packing up the apartment. Finally, this is coming to an end. Shawn and Garrett are on their way here from Nashville to finish taking apart the electronics (because I am afraid to mess it up) and load up the truck! It's moving time!!

23 week pictures!

Sorry this is so late! It has been a crazy few days. I am loving the baby bump and so much has been changing. This week at 23 weeks 3 days I had my first day of swollen ankles and man did they hurt :(. I also looked down to see how much of my feet I could see and realized how shallow my belly button has become :). It is so fun to watch how having a baby changes your body. I am just amazed at what a beautiful time this is. I am just taking it all in!! God has given us such a blessing with this little man!!

For those that haven't heard, our son's name is Brantley Lane Queeney!!! We couldn't be happier.

We had a blast over these last two days. They are currently on the road and headed back to Ohio. Hope to see them again, sooner rather than later!

22 weeks 1 day!

22 weeks 1 day! Here is the new bump picture. I just got done saying good-bye to my sister Angela and her two sweet children. We had a great day long adventure. Spent some time at Chic-fil-a for lunch and some playground time, followed by a nice spaghetti dinner.
Angela and myself took some time after the kids went to bed to hear our little one's heartbeat! It was a moment we will both cherish forever.

Pregnancy is going great, having lots more movement!! Now, I just need to get to packing for our move back to TX!!

21 weeks 1 day!

My beautiful baby bump! I sure have an active little man, and loving every minute of it! He is more active after meal times and in the evening.
This past week I flew to VA to visit Shawn in NC and he finally got a chance to feel our little man kick, it was a great experience. We had fun just spending time together and a few other fun things....

In other news, we are moving back to Texas!! Shawn got new military orders!! That is the other stuff that I was talking about. We found a nice canal house and now just trying to set up all of the specifics of getting down to Texas in the next 30 days!

Shawn and I also spent our 5 year wedding anniversary together (pics coming soon). We had a beautiful dinner at a place in Elizabeth City, NC. The restaurant is called Montero's and is a nice little classy place. The food was good. My favorite thing was fried goat cheese with strawberry glaze and reduced balsamic vinegar!! Just up my alley! We spent the evening with a couple of our friends from Owensboro, KY that just happened to be transferred to the same area and we got a chance to catch up. It was a beautiful night and full of many fond memories.

Halfway Point!

Saturday June 18th (20 weeks!!)

These pictures were taken prior to going to work on Saturday. It feels so good to have made it this far into this pregnancy. I love being pregnant and all the ups and downs that come along with it. There is a definite change in my thinking process these days...things seem clearer most days :)

While others, my thoughts are foggy and I can't find words. I am talking, simple words I should be able to come up with no problem. I couldn't remember what a gas station was and just had to laugh at myself.

One of the other "symptoms" that is hard to deal with is the crying. I cry when I am happy, I cry when I am sad, I cry just to cry at times. I can be watching a funny TV program and just start bawling. It's quite comical.

Excited to meet my sweet baby boy in 20 weeks!!
